What is the difference betwen a Software and a Hardware?

Many of the beginners in computer thought that the soft parts of computer is software and the hard parts are hardwares.But it is really a blunder.
Softwares
They are the program needed for the functioning of a computer other than e-devices like CPU, Hard disk etc or. These are invisible components.But it is must for the functioning of a computer.
There are two classifications for this softwares on commercial basis.

1. Free softwares- These are the softwares an user can use without any payment.These softwares will be provided by the manufacturer or the programmer free to use.It is mainly for the marketing of their products,ie an FM radio provides its FM PLAYER software free for the popularity of their channel. eg for a free software:Mozilla Firefox used for web browsing.These can be downloaded from the web,Yahoo messenger,Adobe flash Player
   
2. Pay softwares-To use this software we should buy a CD or Download using credit card and we have to spent money on it.These are mainly popular softwares used in the daily needs or business needs. For eg:Microsoft office, Adobe photoshop-$649(nearly 28,000Rs), Dreamweaver,etc.

Hardwares: Hardwares are the input and output electronic devices to work in a software or to input our needs and to view its output, More than this it is a storage device also(Hard disk/CD/floppy).this can be viewed with our eyes. and can repair.
Input devices are Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner,Mic,Webcam etc.
Output devices are Monitor,Sound Speaker,Printer,Headphones etc.
